About us

Bansith is a 4-piece alternative metal collective based in Sheffield, with a current lineup consisting of:

Tasha Collins (vocals) Sam Graham (drums) Benji Garton (guitar, backing vocals) Oliver Perkins (guitar)

The sound of Bansith is defined by their blend of heavy guitar tones, rich synths and soaring vocals. They float seamlessly from punchy riffs and breakdowns to ethereal synth-led atmospheres, all while presenting a bleak and critical view of the world today.

Their debut album Final Lullaby (2022) was made and released as a DIY university project between founding members Tasha and Sam. The album is conceptually themed around apocalypse, and explores issues that are making the world today feel as though it is on the brink of ending. The making of this album became the origin of the band; after the album’s release Bansith burst on to the local gig scene, playing venues in and around Sheffield.

Now in 2023, with a new lineup and new material in the works, Bansith have established themselves as an exciting and prolific new contributor to the local metal scene. Their live show promises to bring energy, intrigue and plenty of apocalyptic dread.
